Suman Tarafdar is a passionate corporate law professional and the founder of S. Tarafdar Advisory, driven by a strong interest in the practical and evolving world of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and business advisory.

A First-Class Commerce Graduate from the CBSE Board (2022), Suman chose to pursue the Company Secretary profession out of a genuine passion for Corporate Laws, SEBI Regulations, and the dynamic legal and regulatory framework that shapes modern businesses. His academic journey reflects both dedication and consistency, having successfully cleared all levels of examinations conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).

In recognition of his academic excellence, he was nominated by ICSI for Group Prize Money for clearing both modules of the CS Executive Programme in the very first attempt — an achievement that highlights his commitment, discipline, and professional capability.

Suman is also a B.Com (Honours) graduate from the prestigious University of Calcutta, where he completed his graduation in 2025. Alongside his academic and professional pursuits, he continues to build practical exposure in the fields of Corporate Advisory, Mergers & Acquisitions, SEBI Laws, and business compliance services.
